TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
