TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
